So here we are, 2 weeks away from leaving Florida for another try at driving to Alaska. We'll be driving a 99 Tahoe, pulling a 24' travel trailer...with a dog. The big difference this trip, not withstanding the physical changes,...we will be traveling for 2 months to join up with a formal RV Caravan in Hazelton, BC on July 25th. Yes, I definitely said a formal Caravan. The caravan trip is then another 37 days, one way through Canada and Alaska, ending at the Kenai Peninsula on September 1. If that's not enough fun for you, we'll then spend 30 days or so returning home, hopefully arriving here around the first week of October. So buckle up and join us, with new routes, sites and campgrounds ...North to Minnesota, West to Glacier, then on to Hazelton, BC and the start of something we've never done...caravaning with 14-16 other RVs as we explore new territory. For those of you who know us well...you already realize this will truly be a social experiment on so many levels.
